WE WERE THERE. SO WE HAVE SOME QUESTIONS. 🔵
We sent someone from our group to watch the first two tryouts.
With so many new faces, honestly it is not easy to recognise everyone. But from what we saw, there didnt seem to be more returning players at the second tryout. Maybe even less.
Gatus was not there for example.
The club already tried to reassure everyone that some of the old players could still return, and we hope they do. But after two sessions, people will naturally start asking questions.
And we think that’s fair.
What happens to the guys doing the tryouts now if former players come back later? They are fighting for their place now, so they deserve some clarity too. Sana naman.
We are not here to attack the club. We actually love what Manila Montet is doing.
A huge number of people now follow this club and many of them dont even know what the PFL is. That is both an amazing opportunity and a loss for Philippine football. A club that can bring this many new people into football should also be helping them discover the wider football scene here.
If you have followed us for a long time, you know our position.
We want Manila Montet back in the PFL.
The attention is already there. The supporters are there. Now we want to see the same ambition and stability on the football side.
We will keep supporting. We will also keep asking questions.
That’s what supporters are for. 🔵
